Places I Enjoy

I check out these sites pretty much on a daily basis for inspiration or day-dreaming purposes. This is both a recommendation and a warning to the easily-addicted.

Decorating/Lifestyle

Desire to Inspire
Eye candy to the max.

Urban Comfort
My friend referred me to this lovely site. All she had to tell me was “she’s so Martha” and I was all over it.

Design Crisis
I never know what to expect each morning when I visit - I like it that way.

Decor8
But really, who doesn’t like this site?

Ishtar Olivera
She’s got a warm, sunny personality, she’s creative, and she shares helpful tips. I like!

Young House Love
This site is uber-popular and I can see why. I’ve just recently started following it and already my head is bursting with renovation and decorating ideas.

Cooking

La Tartine Gourmande
Not too many recipes, but beautifully styled food photos. Recommended by Martha.

Annie’s Eats

Some recipes and some life stories. There’s a photo somewhere in there of her little son reflected in a mixing bowl that melts my heart.

Noble Pig

I dig it! Not usually the most healthy of recipes, but the ones I’ve tried have always been a hit. And the pictures are great.

Simply Recipes

This is the first food blog I ever bookmarked. It’s a must-have.

Dinner & A Movie

This is a sub-page of a photography blog I subscribe to. It doesn’t get updated too often, but again, the photos are great. I really like that she pairs the meal with a movie she watches. I like food, I like movies - how can you go wrong? Her 4+ hour lasagne adventure is one of the little mountains I’d like to conquer for myself in the next little while. I’ll be sure to chronicle the adventure on my blog.

I Made That!

She makes some complicated but inspiring things - everyday things that you would normally just go out and buy from a shop. I like how she writes too. Very cute.

Taste Hong Kong

A lot of Chinese and other Asian recipes. I like to go here when I feel like treating my honey to a special meal from his motherland.
